ds styled: issue 3

be a superhero

modeling has never been a totally natural fit.  after giving it a go in high school with ford models, i stopped and didn't look back feeling too self conscious to be in front of a camera.  and now years later here we are, walking the streets of brooklyn, leaning against brick walls while laughing at no one, using random fences as leg rests and standing on street corners staring longingly into the distance.  awkward.

perhaps what helped me feel at ease in these pictures is our beautiful and comfortable cape - one of my favorite #dsgoods.  it is like wearing a big blanket.  like getting a hug.  it is a warm layer of softness wrapped around your shoulders.  super hero material.

for best results, we recommend tightening the drawstring so that it forms a slight gathered waist in the back.  then tie the front drawstrings into knots.  if you are sitting at your desk or driving, the arm slits move up and down your arm easily.  and with accessories?  this cape works well with a cross-body bag.

for your upcoming holiday travel our willow cape is the perfect travel companion.  it will keep you warm on a cold plane, it will clean easily at home if you happen to spill your red wine during a turbulent moment, and it won't wrinkle so you will arrive at your destination feeling good.

and best part is - you can get it for under $200 this week by typing in code DSHoliday2015 when you check out.

happy shopping.

and happy, happy holidays.
