Dudley Loves: Nantucket

Just 30 miles off the mainland, Nantucket feels like a world away (and we wouldn’t want it any other way). Our family has been traveling here since we were our kids' age and experiencing the island through their eyes brings back so many happy memories. How do we spend our island time these days? Hop the ferry with us and explore a Dudley day in this special seaport.

Sandy beaches

They call it Children’s Beach for good reason—it’s made for that classic toes-in-the-sand beach day with the kiddos. Pre-sunset, we grab our Corksicles and stroll over to Jetties Beach for dinner and one last playground lap before tucking them in.

Great bites

A picture-perfect harbor view and a kids’ menu? The Brant Point Grill at the White Elephant has something for everyone. (We throw a lightweight fleece turtleneck over our shoulders just in case.) For a sans-kids date night, we love the authentic sea-to-fork menu at Topper’s at the Wauwinet.
