In the Image of Icons.

What makes a fashion icon, an icon? To us it’s that insouciant new way a classic piece gets worn, an effortless chic that’s brimming with confidence. Or the breaking of a rule: “you don’t wear white jeans in winter,” or “a black turtleneck can’t be alluring (even rebellious).”

That’s what stopped us in our tracks when we spotted this 1960s Brigitte Bardot, French-cool styling we just had to emulate with our #dsgoods. And inspired us to create this mood board capturing our favorite icons wearing Dudley-style pieces (just in time for a Cobble Hill restock next week!). Because “fleece can’t be fashion” was a rule just made to be broken.
