Garden Party

It started when we discovered Gatopard Linens, a Washington, DC-based shop specializing in sophisticated tabletop accessories with a global flair (gatopard means leopard, their signature print). Launched by a pair of sisters (sound familiar?), the brand’s whimsical designs inspired us to set a table for a little summer backyard meet-up. 

On the table: Gatopard’s green leopard tablecloth and fringe cocktail napkins monogrammed with our signature pineapple. 

On our shoulders: the Bubble Boatneck in Sherbet (Lauren) and the Sunnyside Cover-Up in Island Coral (Kaki).

In our glasses:

Refreshing Mint Lemonade

Boil 1 cup water w/1 cup sugar, dissolving sugar to make simple syrup.  

Let it cool to room temperature on counter.  

Combine 7 cups cold water, the 1 cup of cooled simple syrup, and 1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed lemon into a pitcher. 

Add ice and sprigs of fresh mint to garnish!
