How haute can we go?

That was the essential question that inspired our DS Capsule Collection, launching today with two styles pushing the upper limits of our fleece-as-fashion design aesthetic. We set out to build on our everyday essentials with evolved designs that capture runway-ready details. Below find behind-the-design details on our inaugural Collection styles.

The Millbank Maxi Coat The Silhouette: This is our take on the forever investment coat. It was created for maximum elevation, a head-turning statement coat you’ll turn to for seasons to come.

The Details: We based the puff sleeve on our sell-out Windsor Blazer style—it’s universally flattering. It’s soft and warm down to the silky-stretchy lining. Pockets (of course) and a stand-up collar give it that Dudley treatment.

Styling the Piece: Dual metal pineapple buttons open up a few styling options. It’s dressy enough for any black-tie event, but also understated enough for your favorite denim, any day of the week.

The Rockaway Cocoon Coat The Silhouette: This is a high-style, streetwear-inspired coat available in Neon Pink or Neon Yellow lining, that slouchy shawl collar that’s so trend-right. It’s a little edgy, but still reads classic—we wanted a coat equally at home for city jaunts or suburban family life. Dudley Stephens fleece

The Details: An oversized fit gives this coat an insouciant feel, and pops of Neon Yellow or Neon Pink on the edges add unexpected contrast. The shawl collar can be worn up or down, and a metal pineapple button adds versatility. It’s soft and warm down to the silky-stretchy lining.

Styling the Piece: We love this piece with denim, but don’t be afraid to dress it up a little for date night or girls’ night, either. It’s the perfect transitional coat into spring’s warmer days.
