Sizing info:

How do you Dudley? I am in my Dudleys 3 out of 4 seasons: to work 5 days a week (with my cardigan readily available during the summer), to the park, soccer practice and playdates, and out with friends for dinner and drinks. I once ran a Spartan race at Fenway Park in my Navy Park Slope! My all-time favorite moment in my Dudley (Terry Boatneck Ice Blue) was with Rep. Ayanna Pressley as I waited to present to the Boston Employment Commission at Boston City Hall. I wear Dudleys so often that my peers have called me Dudley (and I will answer to it)!

Favorite DS colors: Red, Black, Island Coral

What’s your desert island Dudley? My Heather Grey Park Slope in Terry Fleece.

What size do you wear in DS?

Park Slope XS for the perfect put-together look with dress pants or jeans.

Cobble Hill -S with the length hemmed up to the pocket line.

Greenpoint - S, perfect with no hemming necessary.

Brighton Boatneck - XS as a single layer, S when layering.

How does DS sizing run for you? The Park Slope runs large for me, so I get one size down, and the hem line is perfect at my hip. For extra room in Park Slope I have purchased S during the winter seasons for a little extra length layered over heat gear during ski season. For me, the Cobble Hill is true to size, once hemmed for length. In the Greenpoint Vello, I wear a S; since the Vello material is thicker, the S will allow for layering. With the thinner Terry Greenpoint, an XS is a streamlined fit that still lets me layer.

What’s your favorite thing to pair DS styles with? Mostly skinny jeans. The Greenpoint is perfect with denim and leggings, and can be dressed up and down. It will be my go-to for the slopes in the winter!

I love wearing my Brighton Boatneck over a collared shirt or thrown over a t-shirt or a dress for cooler spring/summer temps. I also wear it to work paired with dress pants, a pencil skirt or denim.

Any other DS fit tips? For someone with my body type, the Park Slope and Brighton Boatneck in XS offer a fitted and clean look; the S lends extra room over a tank top, t-shirts or a button down. In the Cobble Hill a S, hemmed 1-1.5” (at pocket line), provides the perfect rear coverage, and the Greenpoint is the perfect in-between, with enough rear coverage for when I want a longer length without hemming.
