Pretty in Putnam

We set out to create a versatile counterpoint to traditional pullover proportion, a fashion-forward feminine feel with eye-catching detail. Here are more behind-the-design details on our latest pullover worth pulling over.

The silhouette: We wanted to design a shorter fitting zip-up—still casual and versatile, but a bit less sporty. Think a sister-style twist on the Prospect, à la the Park Slope to the Cobble Hill.

The details: We experimented with mixing fleeces in this one piece, and the outcome is just what we wanted—mainly Terry Fleece with accents of Vello. The other twist is color blocking at play with those mixed fabrications for a piece that’s truly unique. 

Styling the piece: The Putnam will instantly make an outfit paired with your favorite neutral jogger or blue/white denim. You can get extra mileage out of it by zipping it up or down, or draping it over a crisp white tee for yet another look. Try it with a print like a floral, for a little extra contrast.  

Set your alarms: The Putnam Pullover drops this Tuesday, July 28 @ 10 a.m. EST in four great hues–Navy with White, Bubble Gum Pink with Pink, Island Coral with Off-White, and Ice Blue with Navy.
