A Cocktail for a Quarantine

The first rule of quarantine cocktail hour: No need for rules. Clink your glass pre-five o’clock if the mood strikes. Use what you have on hand. And don’t forget a distanced cheer with your favorites.

Here’s our simple mixology for a happy hour indeed—whatever hour you choose.

Stay-Home Sangria
Makes 2 cocktails

+ 12oz rosé

+ 6oz seltzer water or club soda

+ Splash of simple syrup

+ Cubes of whatever fruit you have on hand (we used apples and oranges)

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and add a small handful of ice to each glass. Pour sangria over ice and serve immediately!
