Spring Break, Styled

Pack fleece for warm weather? Yes and yes. We challenged bucket list adventure-seeker Stacie Flinner to show us how it’s done. She’s been on a trip or 200 (as in, around the world) before, so she knows just what works. She took our #dsgoods on an epic outing to South America, where summer’s in full swing, and shared how she styled her #dsgoods favorites.

Here’s a peek.

The perfect pairing on the Paraná River. “We took an amazing excursion down the river, which separates Paraguay and Argentina, then hiked half a mile to swim under a waterfall. The Brighton Boatneck was the perfect bathing suit cover-up, and did double duty for drying off post-swim. To my horror, my husband accidentally dropped it in mud, and it bounced back with just a little rinse! Talk about life-proof.”

Treehouse Twinset. “Back at our lodge, the Awasi Iguazu, I layered my Carroll St. Top and Bedford Blanket Scarf for dinner at the treehouse-style restaurant in the rainforest canopy. It created a pulled-together ‘modern twinset’ look that was just right for the cooler evening air.”

Travel Multitaskers. “There are just so many ways to wear these pieces on spring break: with white jeans, with shorts or even draped over your shoulders like a sweater so it’s close at hand when you need it. On the plane, #dsgoods are like the ‘Goldilocks’ of pieces, keeping your temp just right—even on the chilliest legs of your journey.”
