Dropping 10/17: Dudley Stephens x Shop Navy Bleu
We’ve long admired Navy Bleu, the beloved resort brand founded by Erin Hornyak in 2019 and known for heritage blues and small-batch block prints that feel like a permanent vacation. So we asked Erin to bring her signature style to one of our favorites. Introducing our cult-favorite Boardwalk and Kids Windabout pullovers in Navy Bleu’s exclusive hand-blocked floral on our softest Vello Fleece. Two female-founded brands, one shared love of everyday joy in getting dressed—and the prettiest pullover of the season.
Here, Erin shares the spark behind her brand, the inspiration for our collab—and what she always takes along when she travels.

What was the idea behind Navy Bleu, which you launched in 2019?
NAVYBLEU was born from my love for blue, classic New England style! Blue has always been the thread running through our brand, from navy and cornflower to French blue—paired with stripes, ginghams, block prints and heritage details that evoke New England and coastal living.
How would you describe the Navy Bleu woman, and where is she wearing your pieces?
I’d describe her as effortlessly put together, but never overdone! She loves tradition and timeless style. She may be preppy but never predictable and always has a hint of that New England spirit.
What drew you to partnering with Dudley Stephens?
I have been a huge DS fan since I discovered it about 7 years ago! My go-to in the Fall and Winter is the Park Slope. Last year I was desperate to get my hands on the Boardwalk Pullover with the navy hearts but it sold out so fast!

Tell us about your floral block print. What makes it the perfect print to translate from your fabrics to our fleece?
At NB, we love block prints. They are timeless without ever feeling ordinary. They look just as beautiful on vacation as they do home! Which is exactly why this print is beautiful on a dress and perfection on DS fleece.
“Dress like you’re on vacation” is a defining idea behind your collection. What’s your dream vacation destination?
So hard to choose, but I’d say St. Barts and Nantucket are in a tie!
What are the non-negotiables in your suitcase when you travel?
Jeans, loafers, white tee, navy cardigan, white button down, DS fleece!
